Behavior Technicians

Our Registered Behavior Technician’s (RBTs) work one to one providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy with children diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism. As an RBT you will assist with communication skills, promote social skills development, support academic skills, facilitate functional skills, and so much more!

Family Support Center offers paid training, advancement opportunities, weekly supervisions, advancement opportunities, and a levels system where you define your goals and career path.

The Levels systems consists of Four levels and Two tracks (clinical or administrative). You set your goals for learning and reap the benefit of training by gaining clinical experience and wage increases as you work through the levels. You can choose to track toward administrative positions (Floor Supervisor) or clinical positions (BCBA or BCaBA).

Candidates must meet the following qualifications in order to be eligible for employment:

Minimum requirements: Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent and be able to pass a background check.

Preferred Experience: Minimum 1 year experience working with children, and completion of college coursework in the field of psychology, education, social work, Behavior Sciences, human development or related fields, such as counseling, OT, SLP.

All candidates must be available Monday – Friday 2pm to 7pm and Saturdays 8am – 5pm

Behavior Analyst Candidate Program

Whether you find your passion in ABA while working as an RBT or are already in a BCBA education program, we can offer you in/direct supervision as a senior RBT and put you on a track to move into a BCBA or BCaBA position after you pass your board exam.

We take pride in our Behavior Analyst Candidate Program where we have a dedicated BCBA to provide routine supervision, mentor you throughout your BCBA coursework and prepare you for boards. In addition, Candidates will have access to over a dozen BCBAs & BCaBAs who have a variety of experience levels and specialties – all of whom are willing to share, supervise, and mentor a candidate. We also provide hands on experience in a training and research based environment. While in the program you will be able to obtain both direct and indirect supervision hours required by the BACB.

You will have enormous responsibility, and impact during your [approximate] 2 year program. You will work with BCBAs learning to write and implement behavior plans and set goals, mentor new Behavior Technicians, and much more.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a Level 4 Behavior Technician, provide proof of completion of first course and be currently enrolled in an accredited behavior analysis program in the United States and successfully complete their 90 day introductory period.

There will also be an interview with the Clinical Services Director and Training Coordinator focusing on professionalism and clinical skills that will be necessary to be successful within the Behavior Analyst Candidate Program.

Floor Supervisors

Responsible for overseeing the overall mileu of the center the Floor Supervisors are our most senior Behavior Technicians who step in during behaviors and provide guidance to less seasoned staff.

Qualifications

Candidates must be a Level 4 Behavior Technician and promote a positive team environment.

There will also be an interview with the Clinical Services Director and other members of management focusing on professionalism and clinical skills that will be necessary to be successful within the Floor Supervisor role.

Behavior Analysts

The Behavior Analysts (BCBAs & BCaBAs) supervise a case load of clients, including writing and managing behavior programs, provide supervisory feedback to RBTs and BCBA candidates.

Our Behavior Analysts can choose from multiple locations offering growth opportunities for those looking to advance their career. We offer routine supervision and a support system of peers and management to maximize your clinical expertise.

Family Support Center believes in an integrated treatment model where supervisors work interactively with a team of other professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

Current National BCBA or BCaBA licensed professional with the ability to be credentialed with a number of private, commercial, and other third-party insurances (TriCare, Anthem, etc).

Therapy

The therapy team (SLPs & OTs) supervise a case load of clients, including writing and managing care plans, provide supervisory feedback to RBTs and coordinate care with BCBAs.

This division is new to our facilities but growing quickly! Therapists can choose from multiple locations offering growth opportunities for those looking to advance their career.

Family Support Center believes in an integrated treatment model where supervisors work interactively with a team of other professionals.

Minimum Requirements:

Current State licensure as a Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist with the ability to be credentialed with a number of private, commercial, and other third-party insurances (TriCare, Anthem, etc).

Billing

The Billing team is responsible for ensuring accurate bills are submitted to our payor sources and working through any issues that arise.

Scheduling

Our Scheduling team plays a crucial role in ensuring clients and staff are matched in a way that provides excellent care in a consistent manner.

Admin

The Admin team provides support to clinical staff and our clients, either as part of a team or individually. The role plays a vital part in the smooth-running of our company.
