Theresa Yakich
Vice President of Clinic Operations
Dr. Theresa Yakich is the Vice President of Clinic Operations for the Family Support Center of Colorado and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Doctoral level. For almost 25 years, Theresa has been providing behavior analytic services within the educational, community, and clinical settings to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral needs. Theresa’s research interests include parent and staff training, and her work is published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis. She is passionate about FSC’s role in promoting the practice of integrated care in the local Colorado community, bringing together talented practitioners, and helping families access care for their children.

Mariel Garcia
Business Development Director
Mariel Garcia is the Business Development Director for the Family Support Center of Colorado. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Services from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Addiction Counselor and Certified Prevention Specialist. She has years of experience working with children and families in behavioral health. She serves as a board member for Centro Counseling and Advocacy Services. She is also a crisis evaluator and behavioral health clinician in Colorado Springs in her spare time. She’s very passionate about giving back to her community!

Amy Corsi
Human Resources Director
Amy Corsi is Family Support Center's Human Resources Director. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, emphasizing in Human Resources & Organizational Development from Colorado State University Global. For almost 20 years, Amy has provided human resources expertise in the construction, food service and healthcare settings both as an employee and as a board member. She loves being a part of growing Family Support Center to meet the needs of the Southern Colorado communities they serve and providing career opportunities to individuals who may have never known about ABA services.

Sherie Terranova
Operations Director
Sherie Terranova is Family Support Center’s Operations Director. She is a native to Colorado and has been in practice management for over 20 years. She started managing operations by becoming a practice manager for a veterinary hospital before making her way to Family Support Center in 2011. She loves being an integral part of a growing company and has a passionate commitment to first-rate client care. Sherie thrives by supporting FSC’s wonderful staff who make a difference in the lives of the exceptional children at our centers.
Dr. Janice Diaz Enriquez
Licensed Psychologist
Janice Diaz is Family Support Center’s Pueblo based Licensed Psychologist. She received her Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and her Doctoral degree in Clinical Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University. She has 10+ years working in the field of mental health with adults and children and has previous experience working as a behavior therapist using ABA therapy. Dr. Diaz is passionate about being a support and advocate for families and clients and providing training and education for the community and the FSC team.

Shacara Quarles
Clinical Director
Shacara Quarles has worked for FSC for over 8 years! She started in the field of ABA over 10 years ago as a Behavior tech and returned to school to pursue her BCaBA then BCBA. Shacara also has a masters in Public Administration and Management. During her time with FSC she started as a BCBA and moved into a clinic manager role after 4 hours years of managing a caseload. Shacara recently transitioned into a clinical director position where she oversees our 5 centers! In her free time she enjoys spending time traveling with her 4 year old son and husband.

McKenna Young
Family Coordinator
McKenna Young is Family Support Center's Family Coordinator. She has worked at FSC for over 4 years. McKenna began working at the Front Desk, then transitioned to the scheduling team, and now is the Family Coordinator and Scheduling Supervisor. She loves connecting with families, helping them through the intake process and problem-solving schedules to maximize client care. In her free time, McKenna loves spending time outdoors kayaking with her daughter and fiancée.

Ashley Urbino
Recruiting and Retention Specialist
Ashley Urbino is FSC's Recruiting and Retention Specialist with extensive experience in care delivery, leadership, and mentorship of others in the ABA field. She received her Bachelor's in Psychology, then became an RBT for 4 years moving into clinical mentorship and leadership roles. She has been in her current position for almost 4 years, and really enjoys the ability to reach out to the community and educate them on ABA therapy and the opportunities in the field. She loves seeing the newly hired RBT's get the chance to make a difference in a child's life, and enjoys offering guidance to move up in our company!

Katie Putt
Clinic Manager - South Office
Katie Putt is the Clinic Manager for the South Colorado Springs location at FSC. She is a BCBA and has worked in the field of Autism for over fifteen years. She received her M.A. from Ball State in Special Education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2013. Katie has been a leader at FSC since 2014, and has been instrumental in expanding our services. She is passionate about the field of ABA and connecting families with excellent clinical services.

Kara Duran
Clinic Manager - Central Office
Kara Duran is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who received her Master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis in behavior analysis from Ball State University in 2018. She is currently the Clinic Manager for the central location for Family Support Center in Colorado Springs. Kara has worked in the field of applied behavior analysis for nearly 10 years moving through clinical roles from a behavior technician to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2018. Her primary clinical experience is with children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis in both center and home settings. Kara has also obtained her Professional Crisis Management instructor certification in 2017 and leads crisis management training and consultation for FSC facilities. Kara strives to teach skills to minimize crisis intervention.

Melissa Smith
Clinic Manager - Central Pueblo Office
Melissa Smith has been with Family Support Center’s Central Pueblo location since it was newly opened in 2018, and became its Clinic Manager in September 2020. Originally from Salt Lake City, UT, she has experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings. These include an outpatient medical clinic, inpatient psychiatric facility, residential programs, day programs, schools, as well as in clinic and in home ABA services. Melissa first began working with adults with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder as a Program Coordinator/Behavior Specialist in 2005, and quickly developed a passion for working with the special needs population. She eventually pursued a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, became a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) in 2012, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in 2016.

Brianna McGookin
Clinic Manager - North Office
Brianna McGookin has worked for Family Support Center for 2 years as a BCBA. Brianna has been in the field of ABA for 6 years, starting as an RBT in her hometown of South Bend, Indiana and then going back to school to achieve her BCBA. Brianna attended Indiana University and graduated with an undergraduate degree in exercise science and attended Ball State University for her Master's in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Stephanie Cooke
Early Explorers Program Manager
Stephanie Cooke has worked for the Family Support Center of Colorado since 2018. She studied Communication Disorders at California University of Pennsylvania with a minor in Psychology as an undergraduate student and then got her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University. She is the Program Manager for our early intervention program, Early Explorers. She is excited to see the program continue to grow and looks forward to expanding into other centers in the future. Stephanie also supports our RBTs who are seeking further certification by supervising and coordinating group supervision.
